Healthcare Georgia Foundation Staff Announcements

Healthcare Georgia Foundation is pleased to announce the following staff news:

Andrea Young Kellum, program officer, has been accepted into the 2013 class of the Hull Fellows program of the Southeastern Council of Foundations. The Hull Fellows program has become the nation’s leading professional development opportunity for philanthropy’s up-and-coming leaders. The year-long program gives participants opportunities for deeper learning, time to build stronger connections and motivation for personal and professional growth. The Hull Fellows program immerses participants in three face-to-face gatherings, connects them with foundation leaders as one-on-one mentors, provides for ongoing learning through monthly phone or webinar gatherings to discuss key readings and developments in the field. The program culminates with the participants’ completion of small group Capstone Projects, presented at the SECF 2013 Annual Meeting.

Racquel Lee-Sin, grants manager, has been selected as the southeast regional chair for the Grant Managers Network (GMN). In this role, Ms. Lee-Sin is responsible for the general oversight, management, and operations of the southeast regional chapter. Ms. Lee-Sin will also set the chapter’s strategic direction, identify goals, manage volunteers and serve as the liaison to the national organization. In addition, she will develop and maintain external partners/resources to promote the GMN to the philanthropic community, recruit volunteers and educate regional members about opportunities on improving practices.
