Current Funding Opportunities

Dear Friends, Grantees, and Partners:

We are excited to announce the launch of the Foundation’s 2018 Notification of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Cohort Two of EmpowerHealth, the Foundation’s capacity building grant program. Supporting capacity building allows the Foundation to support health nonprofit organizations and strengthen the way they provide services and collaborate so they are better able to sustain high-quality programs, achieve long-term performance, and obtain better results. The complete funding announcement is available in the NOFA listed below.

The application process for EmpowerHealth is two phases and applicants must participate in all activities in order to be eligible to apply for a full online application in March 2018. All organizations must initially complete the online application and submit a Letter of Intent (LOI). Eligible organizations that submit LOIs will have the opportunity to participate in the following activities:

  • Attend one of three Core Capacity Assessment Toolkit (CCAT) orientation webinars
  • Complete the online CCAT to identity organizational areas that need strengthening
  • Obtain assistance from TCC Group and an EmpowerHealth Preferred Consultant to interpret the CCAT results
  • Submit an application for funding based on the needs identified from the CCAT to the Foundation

Organizations that do not submit the LOI will not be eligible to participate in the CCAT orientation webinars, complete the CCAT, receive individual coaching or apply for a full online application. LOIs are due by November 29, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. EST.
